The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just announced the decision to register heritages in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List of the provinces and cities: Tuyen Quang, Dien Bien, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Yen Bai and Hanoi.

Accordingly, Tuyen Quang province has 4 heritages listed this time, including: Fire dancing ceremony of Pa Then people, Hong Quang commune, Lam Binh district; Hong Thai Communal House Festival, Tan Trao commune, Son Duong district; Water Wheel knowledge of Tay people in Trung Ha, Ha Lang communes, Chiem Hoa district, Con Lon commune, Na Hang district, Phuc Yen commune, Lam Binh district; Knowledge and practices of wet rice cultivation of Tay people in Lang Can, Hong Quang, Khuon Ha, Thuong Lam, Phuc Yen communes, Lam Binh district.
Dien Bien province also has 4 listed heritages: Blacksmithing of the Mong people; Dance art of the Lao people in Dien Bien and Dien Bien Dong districts; Family worship ceremony of the White Mong people in Tuan Giao, Dien Bien, Dien Bien Dong districts; Costume making art of the Ha Nhi people in Sin Thau, Leng Su Sin, Sen Thuong, Chung Chai communes, Muong Nhe district.
On this occasion, Cao Bang province has the traditional craft of brocade weaving of the Tay people, Ngoc Dao commune, Ha Quang district,
Yen Bai province has the folk performing art of the Khen art of the Mong people, Mu Cang Chai district, Tram Tau district, Van Chan district.
Bac Kan province has the folk art of lullaby singing of the Tay people, Giao Hieu commune, Pac Nam district.
Hanoi city has a traditional festival of the Loyalty Oath at Dong Co temple, Buoi ward, Tay Ho district.
In particular, among the above-mentioned intangible cultural heritages, the Fire Dancing Festival of the Pa Then people in Hong Quang commune, Lam Binh district, Tuyen Quang province was recognized for the second time as a national intangible cultural heritage.
Previously, in the first phase, in document No. 5079/QD – BVHTTDL dated December 27, 2012, this heritage was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the field of traditional festivals.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that the Chairmen of People's Committees at all levels where intangible cultural heritages are included in the list, within the scope of their tasks and powers, carry out state management in accordance with the provisions of the law on cultural heritage.
