In addition, according to a survey at other trading locations in Hanoi , domestic silver prices increased slightly in both buying and selling directions, currently listed at 1,042,000 VND/tael (buy) and 1,072,000 VND/tael (sell). Compared to yesterday, silver prices in Hanoi increased by 1,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions.
In Ho Chi Minh City, silver prices also increased slightly, currently at 1,044,000 VND/tael (buy) and 1,077,000 VND/tael (sell). Compared to yesterday, silver prices in Ho Chi Minh City increased by 1,000 VND/tael for buying - unchanged for selling.

Silver Price Forecast
Like gold, silver’s recent surge in price has been driven largely by geopolitical factors, with demand for safe havens rising as Trump’s tax policies have raised concerns about global economic growth.
However, silver has another unique factor supporting its price: limited supply. When demand exceeds supply, prices tend to rise. The global silver market is quite small, with a turnover of only about $30 billion per year, so even small changes in demand can cause large price swings.
2025 is expected to be the fifth consecutive year that silver demand exceeds supply. While total global supply is around 1.05 billion ounces, demand could reach 1.20 billion ounces. This shortage could push silver prices even higher, and the limits of that rally are still uncertain.
