Extension of the deadline for submitting responses to the anti-dumping investigation into wood fiberboard.

The Trade Remedies Department has announced an extension for submitting responses to the anti-dumping investigation into wood fiberboard originating from Thailand and China.


On November 1st, the Trade Remedies Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced an extension of the deadline for submitting responses to questionnaires for domestic manufacturers and importers in the anti-dumping investigation against certain fiberboard products originating from the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China (Case Code: AD21).

Previously, on September 25, 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2549/QD-BCT on the investigation into the application of anti-dumping measures against certain fiberboard products originating from the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China (Case Code: AD21).

On October 9, 2024, the Trade Remedies Department (TRD) issued Notice No. 156/TB-PVTM regarding the promulgation of the official investigation questionnaire for domestic manufacturing companies and importing companies in the AD21 case. Accordingly, the deadline for responding to the investigation questionnaire is before 5:00 PM on November 15, 2024.

Regarding the request for an extension of the deadline for submitting responses to the questionnaire, the Investigating Authority agrees to extend the deadline for domestic manufacturers and importers to respond to the investigation questionnaire until December 2, 2024 ( Hanoi time). After the aforementioned deadline, the Investigating Authority may use available data in accordance with the law on trade defense.

For other matters, companies are requested to follow the instructions in the investigation questionnaire issued with Notice No. 156/TB-PVTM dated October 9, 2024, of the Trade Remedies Department.
