The price of live pigs today, July 13, in the North recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in the provinces of Hanoi , Quang Ninh, Lang Son and Cao Bang. This is the first group of provinces to have a decrease after many days of prices remaining unchanged or increasing slightly.
The price decline in Hanoi – a key consumption area – shows that demand is slowing down in the short term. A similar situation is also occurring in border provinces such as Lang Son and Cao Bang , reflecting increased supply pressure while purchasing power has not changed much.

In the Central region, the price of live pigs remains stable in general. Only Quang Ngai province slightly reduced by 1,000 VND/kg today.

In the South, the price of live pigs today did not record any fluctuations. Localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Can Tho, An Giang, Dong Thap, Ca Mau, Tay Ninh and Lam Dong continued to maintain the selling price, in which many provinces reached the highest level in the country.
This is an area with strong consumption and a professional farming system, thanks to which the selling price of live pigs always remains stable, less affected by local fluctuations.
