In contrast, the buffalo and cow herds decreased by 7.5% (48,500 heads) and 6.1% (84,200 heads) respectively due to low market prices and mechanization of agricultural production, causing a decrease in the demand for plowing. The poultry herd also grew slightly, reaching 15.4 million heads, up 1.2%, of which the chicken herd accounted for 13.6 million heads, up 1.4%.

Pork prices at WinMart remain stable
This morning, May 15, 2025, the price of Meat Deli chilled pork on the winmart.vn website continued to remain unchanged compared to the previous session, according to a survey at 07:33 AM. The products are currently listed at around 119,922 - 163,122 VND/kg, with a 20% discount for members. Specifically, lean pork shoulder and boneless pork leg are priced at 126,320 VND/kg and 127,922 VND/kg, respectively. The top price is pork belly at 163,122 VND/kg and lean pork ham at 157,520 VND/kg.
Pork prices in Ha Hien remain unchanged.
At Ha Hien Fresh Food Company, pork prices remained unchanged this morning, ranging from 85,000 - 181,000 VND/kg. Two lean pork products, pork thigh and pork shoulder, were sold at 130,000 VND/kg. Next were pork belly and pork tail, at 159,000 VND/kg and 168,000 VND/kg, respectively. Pork ribs led with the highest price, reaching 181,000 VND/kg.
