The price of the iPhone 16e has dropped to its lowest level since its launch.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The iPhone 16e is currently being offered by retailers at a price of 14.9 million VND for the 128GB version. This is also the lowest price for the iPhone 16e since its launch in the Vietnamese market.

While the prices of older iPhone models are constantly rising, the price of the iPhone 16e has been adjusted downwards by many retailers. After more than half a year on the market, the iPhone 16e is currently being offered by authorized Apple dealers at a price of 14.9 million VND for the 128GB version.

This price has been adjusted down by 500,000 VND compared to the end of the third quarter and is 2.1 million VND lower than the listed price. This is also the lowest price for the iPhone 16e since its launch in the Vietnamese market. Despite this, sales of this product line still did not meet expectations.

"Despite several price adjustments, the iPhone 16e has yet to receive strong market interest. In the same segment, users still prefer the iPhone 15 due to its design, stable performance, and better brand recognition," a representative from Minh Tuan Mobile stated.

The overall appearance of the iPhone 16e is almost identical to the iPhone 14. It has a square design with flat edges and rounded corners. The most noticeable difference is on the back, where the iPhone 16e is equipped with only a single camera.

The iPhone 16e is equipped with the A18 chip, allowing it to handle features in the Apple Intelligence suite. Currently, it is also the cheapest iPhone capable of handling Apple's AI.

The phone features a 48MP main camera on the back, while the selfie camera has a 12MP resolution. The iPhone 16e also comes equipped with an Action button, a USB-C charging port, and IP68 water resistance.

Within the same segment, the iPhone 16e currently competes with its own sibling, the iPhone 15. Notably, the number of users interested in the iPhone 15 remains significantly higher, despite its continuous price increases in recent months.

"The iPhone 16e is the lowest-priced model in the iPhone 16 lineup. However, just because it's 'cheap' doesn't guarantee appeal in the Vietnamese market. Most customers tend to choose the iPhone 15," shared Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Director of the Apple product line at Di Dong Viet.
