iPhone 16e price drops to lowest level since launch

(Dan Tri) - iPhone 16e is currently being offered by dealers at a price of 14.9 million VND for the 128GB version. This is also the lowest price of iPhone 16e since its launch in the Vietnamese market.

In the context of the continuous increase in the selling price of old iPhone models, the price of iPhone 16e has been adjusted down by many systems. After more than half a year on the shelves, iPhone 16e is now being offered by Apple authorized dealers at a price of 14.9 million VND for the 128GB version.

This price has been adjusted down by VND500,000 compared to the end of the third quarter and VND2.1 million lower than the listed price. This is also the lowest price of the iPhone 16e since its launch in the Vietnamese market. Despite that, sales of this product line still did not meet expectations.

"Despite many price adjustments, the iPhone 16e has not yet received strong attention from the market. In the same segment, users still prioritize choosing the iPhone 15 thanks to its design, stable performance and better recognition value," said a representative of the Minh Tuan Mobile system.

The overall appearance of the iPhone 16e is almost identical to the iPhone 14. The device has a square design with flat edges and curved corners. The most noticeable difference is on the back when the iPhone 16e is only equipped with one camera.

The iPhone 16e is equipped with the A18 chip, which allows the device to handle features in the Apple Intelligence toolkit. Currently, this is also the cheapest iPhone that can handle Apple's AI.

The device has a main camera on the back with a resolution of 48MP, while the selfie camera has a resolution of 12MP. The iPhone 16e is also equipped with an Action button, a USB-C charging port and IP68 water resistance.

In the same segment, the iPhone 16e is currently competing with its "homegrown" iPhone 15 model. It is worth noting that the number of users interested in the iPhone 15 is still superior even though this product has continuously increased in price in recent months.

"iPhone 16e is the lowest priced model in the iPhone 16 product line. However, not all "cheap" prices will definitely create attraction in the Vietnamese market. Most customers tend to choose iPhone 15," said Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Apple product manager at Di Dong Viet.
