Demand for high-performance memory is soaring globally, and the shortage has put Apple in challenging negotiations with its suppliers.
According to IBTimes, a price increase for the iPhone 18 series is inevitable. Analysts estimate that the price of the iPhone 18 could increase by $50-100, depending on Apple's negotiating power with memory suppliers.
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to feature major improvements in their camera systems. These will be the first iPhone models to be equipped with a camera cluster capable of changing aperture, providing greater flexibility in all lighting conditions.
This feature allows users to adjust the amount of light entering the sensor depending on the shooting environment. Specifically, when shooting in low light conditions, the aperture will automatically widen to capture more light, making the image brighter and more detailed.
Conversely, when shooting outdoors in bright sunlight, the aperture will narrow, avoiding overexposure and helping to reproduce more realistic colors.

In addition, changing the aperture also helps the camera better control the depth of field, thereby improving the quality of portrait photos when the subject is highlighted more prominently than the background.
According to JP Morgan's report, all iPhone 18 versions are equipped with a 24MP selfie camera. On the iPhone 17 generation, the selfie camera has a resolution of 18MP.
This equipment promises to bring sharper and more detailed selfie photos. This contributes to increasing the effectiveness of the Center Stage feature that Apple integrates on its products.
