Gia Lai: Prohibition and restriction of maritime activities to serve military exercises on the morning of October 15

(GLO)- On October 13, the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 4864/UBND-NNMT on prohibited and restricted maritime activities areas serving military exercises of the Navy in Gia Lai waters.

Specifically, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, units and People's Committees of coastal communes and wards to urgently organize the implementation of Notice No. 848/TBHH-CVHHQNh dated October 10, 2025 of Quy Nhon Maritime Port Authority on prohibited and restricted areas for maritime activities serving military exercises.

According to Notice No. 848, Quy Nhon Maritime Port Authority requires that from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on October 15, watercraft are not allowed to enter the restricted sea area for military exercises; at the same time, limit entering the restricted maritime activity area for military exercises to ensure safety.

Coastal communes and wards of Gia Lai province with fishing vessels operating include: Hoai Nhon Bac, Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon Dong, Phu My Bac, Phu My Dong, An Luong, De Gi, Cat Tien, Tuy Phuoc, Tuy Phuoc Dong, Quy Nhon Dong, Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Nam and Nhon Chau.
