Domestic gold bar prices on the morning of February 13th were listed by gold trading companies at 179 million VND/ounce for the selling price, a decrease of 2 million VND/ounce compared to the closing price yesterday.

Specifically, at 8:50 AM, the price of gold bars at Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) and DOJI Group was listed at 176 - 179 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price), a decrease of 2 million VND/ounce in both buying and selling prices compared to the closing price yesterday.

Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group listed the price of gold bars at 176 - 179 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price), a decrease of 1.5 million VND/ounce in the buying price and a decrease of 2 million VND/ounce in the selling price compared to the closing price yesterday.

The price of gold bars at DOJI Group is listed at 178 - 181 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price), remaining unchanged in both buying and selling prices compared to the closing price yesterday.

The price of silver bars listed by Bao Tin Minh Chau Company and Phu Quy Gold, Silver and Gemstone Group is 2.870 - 2.959 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price), a decrease of 238,000 VND/ounce in the buying price and a decrease of 245,000 VND/ounce in the selling price compared to the closing price yesterday.

On the global market, spot gold prices fell 2.8% to $4,938.69 per ounce on February 12. The price of the precious metal dropped to its lowest level since February 6 earlier in the session.

World gold prices fell below $5,000 per ounce, reaching their lowest level in nearly a week on February 12, as positive US employment data reduced the likelihood of the Federal Reserve (Fed) cutting interest rates in the near future.

Spot gold prices fell 2.8% to $4,938.69 per ounce. The price of the precious metal dropped to its lowest level since February 6th earlier in the session. US gold futures for April 2026 delivery fell 2.9% to $4,948.4 per ounce.
