On the morning of January 7th, SJC Company listed the buying price of gold bars at 83.5 million VND/ounce and the selling price at 85 million VND/ounce, a decrease of 500,000 VND per ounce compared to yesterday. The difference between the buying and selling price of gold bars narrowed to approximately 1.5 million VND/ounce.

This is also the selling price of gold bars at PNJ, Mi Hong, DOJI, and some commercial banks such asACB , Sacombank, Eximbank, Vietcombank, Agribank, BIDV...

On the buying side, the price of SJC gold bars varies between businesses and banks. Specifically, Mi Hong buys at 84.4 million VND/ounce, ACB buys at 84 million VND/ounce, while some other entities list buying prices ranging from 83.5 million to 84 million VND/ounce.

Gold prices reversed course and fell sharply today.

Similarly, the price of gold rings and 99.99% pure gold jewelry also decreased. SJC Company traded plain gold rings at 83.5 million VND/ounce for buying and 84.8 million VND/ounce for selling, a decrease of 500,000 VND per ounce.

Some businesses, such as PNJ, DOJI , and Mi Hong, sell gold rings at a higher price, around 85 million VND per tael.

Domestic gold prices are falling as global prices fail to maintain their high levels.

On the international market, the price of gold today is trading at $2,638 per ounce, down about $10 per ounce from the previous session.

Precious metals on international markets fell as the US dollar continued its strong upward trend.

The US dollar index is currently trading around 108.1 points in the international market, its highest level in about two years.

According to analysts, investors are awaiting official information later this month, when Donald Trump takes office as President of the United States and announces his policies for his new term.

Currently, the world gold price, converted according to the listed exchange rate, is approximately 81.2 million VND per tael.
