Will gold prices continue to rise next week?

Yesterday, world gold prices closed at an all-time high: 2,801.2 USD/ounce.

At the current price, converted using the exchange rate listed at banks, the world gold price is equivalent to 85.44 million VND per tael.

Gold prices surged dramatically and repeatedly set records right at the beginning of the new year, catching investors by surprise.

Expert Tran Duy Phuong believes that with the current closing price, the world gold price has not yet peaked, meaning that the world gold price is likely to continue rising at the beginning of next week.

Global gold prices rose due to increased demand for safe-haven assets from investors as US President Donald Trump's tariff plans heightened concerns about economic growth and inflationary pressures worldwide.

Investors are concerned that the world is about to enter a new trade war and that inflationary pressures are increasing globally.
