On the morning of December 28, SJC Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at VND82.7 million/tael and the selling price at VND84.7 million/tael - stable compared to yesterday. This is the highest price of SJC gold bars in over a week.
The price of SJC gold bars has a significant difference between units. PNJ Company trades gold bars at the same price as SJC Company.
Meanwhile, DOJI traded gold bars 400,000 VND lower, buying at 82.3 million VND/tael and selling at 84.3 million VND/tael.
The highest price of SJC gold bars was recorded at Mi Hong Company at 83.9 million VND/tael; at ACB Bank it was 83.7 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, Eximbank and Sacombank bought gold bars at a much lower price, at 82.7 million VND/tael.
Gold bar and gold ring prices have remained high for over a week.
According to businesses, the selling price of gold bars has little difference, while the buying price depends on the business needs of each business and bank, so there is a difference. Currently, the difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold bars between units is from 1-2 million VND/tael.
Not only gold bars, but also gold rings and jewelry prices of all kinds are stable at high levels. SJC Company bought plain gold rings at VND82.7 million/tael and sold at VND84.5 million/tael - stable compared to yesterday. This is also the highest price of gold rings in many days.
PNJ, Mi Hong, Bao Tin Minh Chau companies sell plain gold rings at around 84.7 million VND/tael; DOJI sells at a lower price, with 84.3 million VND/tael. In terms of buying, there is a difference between businesses ranging from 83.3 - 83.9 million VND/tael.
Domestic gold prices have increased in recent days and remained high, contrary to the fluctuations of world gold prices.
On the international market, the price of precious metals this morning closed the trading week at 2,621 USD/ounce, down about ten USD compared to the previous session.
World gold prices are under pressure to decrease in the short term as the USD continues to maintain a strong upward momentum and US bond yields rise to 4.63% - a high level in recent months.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 80.7 million VND/tael.
