Along with the attention to creating favorable conditions for enterprises to produce and do business, Gia Vien district has recently paid special attention to implementing solutions to develop party organizations and party members in non-state enterprises. Thereby, it helps enterprises promptly grasp the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and protects the legitimate rights and interests of cadres, party members and workers.
In early May 2024, the Party Cell of the International Vocational College (Gia Tran Commune) was established under the Gia Vien District Party Committee with 7 Party members. Comrade Nguyen Manh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Cell of the International Vocational College, said that the establishment of the Party Cell marked a new step in the school's development. Immediately after its establishment, the Party Cell developed a working program and regulations for coordinating activities with the Board of Directors and mass organizations in the school; at the same time, it focused on consolidating and improving the quality of activities in accordance with the school's vocational training plan and strategy. With the exemplary and pioneering role of Party members, the Party Cell initially contributed to helping the school stabilize its operations, improve the quality of teaching and learning, and better care for and protect the rights of workers.
The Party Cell of Van Long Ecotourism Service Cooperative (Gia Van Commune) was established in 2021 with 5 Party members. Over the past 3 years, the Party Cell has truly promoted its role as a political nucleus, actively propagating policies and resolutions of all levels on tourism development to Party members and the People. Thereby, creating positive changes in implementing civilized lifestyles, building Van Long Ecotourism Area into a safe, friendly and attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists. "Since the establishment of the Party Cell, the operational efficiency of the Cooperative has improved significantly. Each Party member has promoted an exemplary role, taking the lead in performing tasks, the internal solidarity has always been maintained, and the awareness of members in the Cooperative about tourism development has been raised. Thanks to that, Van Long Ecotourism Area has increasingly attracted more and more tourists. In 2023, the tourist area welcomed more than 70,000 visitors, mainly international visitors. In the first 4 months of 2024, it attracted more than 27,000 visitors and is expected to reach over 80,000 visitors for the whole year." - Comrade Tran Xuan Quang, Secretary of the Party Cell of Van Long Ecotourism Service Cooperative said.
To establish a Party cell at the International Vocational College or the Party cell of Van Long Ecotourism Service Cooperative as well as many non-state enterprises in the district is the effort and determination of the Gia Vien District Party Committee. Comrade Luu Thi Huyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Gia Vien District Party Committee, said: Clearly identifying the work of developing the Party in non-state enterprises as a major and important policy of the Party, the Gia Vien District Party Committee Standing Committee has regularly paid attention to leading, directing, disseminating, and effectively implementing the directives, conclusions, and plans of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on developing the Party in non-state enterprises, especially Resolution No. 08-NQ/TU, dated March 13, 2017 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee "on strengthening the building and enhancing the role and effectiveness of Party organizations and socio-political organizations in non-state enterprises in the province by 2020".
During the implementation process, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee regularly directs surveys to grasp the situation of party organizations, party members, and socio-political organizations in non-state enterprises. Strengthen information and propaganda work to raise awareness for Party committees, cadres, party members, workers and business owners about the establishment of party organizations, socio-political organizations, and the development of party members, union members, and association members among workers and laborers through many appropriate forms such as through conferences and on mass media. In particular, to create a change in the thinking of business owners, the district's departments, branches, and organizations have persistently met, exchanged, and persuaded for many years. Thanks to the persistence of "slow and steady wins the race" and constantly innovating the forms of approach and propaganda, many business owners in the district have better understood and agreed to establish party organizations.
The district also organized a thematic conference on the work of developing party members, emphasizing the need to pay attention to recruiting party members who are workers and laborers in non-state enterprises...; at the same time, assigning specific tasks and orienting implementation solutions for each agency and unit under the district. Proactively innovating ways to create sources and methods of theoretical training, flexibly organizing classes to foster awareness of the Party for elite masses who are cadres, workers and laborers in enterprises.
With specific, flexible and practical methods, ensuring the principles of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Party committees at all levels in the District Party Committee, up to now, the work of developing the Party in non-State enterprises has achieved clear results. When starting to implement Resolution No. 08-NQ/TU of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the District Party Committee only had 2 Party organizations with 34 Party members in non-State enterprises. After more than 7 years of implementation, Gia Vien has established 7 new Party organizations, admitted 23 Party members, of which 8 Party members are business owners; increasing the number of Party organizations in this area to 9 Party cells with a total of 57 Party members.
The development of the Party in non-state enterprises has contributed to creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, union members, business owners and employees in Party building work, making an important contribution to the leadership and direction of the implementation of production and business development tasks of enterprises, ensuring the legitimate and legal rights and interests of employees.
Deputy Secretary of Gia Vien District Party Committee Luu Thi Huyen also said that in order to continue to strengthen the building and enhance the role and effectiveness of Party organizations in non-state enterprises, in the coming time, the Standing Committee of Gia Vien District Party Committee will focus on leading and directing the good implementation of propaganda work, thoroughly implementing the directives, conclusions and plans of the Central Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the District Party Committee on the establishment of Party organizations and the development of Party members in non-state enterprises. In particular, it will continue to do a good job of information and propaganda work on the role, position and necessity of Party organizations for enterprises. Pay attention to training and fostering to improve the professional skills of Party building work to improve the quality of cadres doing Party work in enterprises.
Along with that, the Standing Committee of Gia Vien District Party Committee continues to lead, direct, and create the most favorable conditions to promote production and business activities in the district, promote the development of enterprises, including non-state enterprises, promote labor restructuring, increase income, improve people's lives, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio -economic development goals set forth by the Resolution of the 22nd Gia Vien District Party Congress, term 2020-2025.
