Volleyball - Tug of War Tournament of Vietnam Sports Day, Thuy Nguyen District, 2024

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of March 16, the Center for Culture - Information and Sports of Thuy Nguyen district organized the 2024 Thuy Nguyen District Volleyball - Tug of War Tournament on Vietnam Sports Day.
This is an opportunity for athletes who are civil servants, officials of the Department of Culture and Sports and the Center for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Cultural Officials of communes and towns (or part-time) to participate in the spirit of solidarity, exchange and learning. The tournament has 50 athletes divided into 5 teams competing in both Volleyball and Tug of War. The teams compete in 2 categories for men and women according to age groups and in a round-robin format.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the qualifying matches continued to be exciting and attractive. The athletes competed in solidarity, honesty, demonstrating the noble spirit, the cultural beauty in sports, dedicating to the audience good plays, beautiful passes and receiving enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
In recent times, Volleyball and Tug of War have become quite strongly developed sports in all localities and units in the district. The tournament was organized to practically celebrate the 78th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2024) and respond to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in the period of 2021-2030./.
