
On July 22, at Quang Nam Stadium (Da Nang City), the opening ceremony of the final round of the 2025 National Children's Football Tournament took place.
Turning 28, the final round of the National Children's Football Tournament this year has the participation of 16 best teams of the 11-year-old age group including: Nam Dinh, Hung Yen, Phu Tho, Hai Duong, Thai Binh , Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Viet Hung Thanh Hoa, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, T&T VSH, Quang Nam, Dak Lak, Rosarock Ngoc Hung, Binh Duong, Becamex Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
With 54 teams and more than 1,000 young players participating right from the qualifying round, this year's tournament has set a record in history. These are not only impressive numbers, but also evidence of a persistent journey, contributing to the physical and mental development of the young generation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, writer and journalist Nguyen Phan Khue - Member of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, Editor-in-Chief of the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper - Head of the Organizing Committee shared: "This is not only an annual sports tournament, but also an inspirational journey, where dreams take flight, where young hearts begin to write stories of passion and aspiration".
Right after the opening ceremony, the first match took place between the home team Quang Nam and Lang Son team with the result of the match 1 - 2.
The matches of the tournament will continue to take place at Quang Nam Stadium (Da Nang City) from July 22 to August 1.
