In Da Nang City, immediately after the Central Organizing Committee issued the Plan on organizing the 9th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2024, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee to preside over and coordinate with agencies to implement the Award in the city. The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also issued a Decision to establish a Steering Committee for the City-level Award. On that basis, the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee issued a Plan to deploy, launch and respond to the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in 2024.

In parallel with the implementation of the resolutions of the 13th National Party Congress, the 22nd City Party Congress and the Party Congresses at all levels, Party committees at all levels, localities, agencies and media units have developed plans and programs to widely disseminate the national and city Golden Hammer and Sickle Awards in accordance with the operating conditions of their units, so that cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and people can know.

It can be said that under the regular direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the national press award on Party building named Golden Hammer and Sickle in 2024 continues to be well implemented in the city. The number of units submitting works for the competition this year increased by 146.7% compared to 2023. Notably, this year's Award received many quality works from non-professional authors from districts, towns, and units.

Through the results of the scoring and selection of entries in the city, the Steering Committee and the Selection Council selected 66 entries (including 37 print works, 07 electronic works, 01 article, 14 television works and 07 radio works) to submit to the 2024 National Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in accordance with the rules and regulations. At the same time, the Jury Council also compiled the scoring results and selected the city award./.
