The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that if the difficulties and problems of enterprises are well resolved, it will prove that the government is accompanying enterprises and investors very well; that is the best call for investment.
On August 29, the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee chaired the Dialogue Conference with Enterprises in 2025. Nearly 400 domestic and foreign enterprises, investors, and economic organizations in the province attended.
The conference was held in person and online with 3 connecting points including Lam Dong of thousands of flowers, Lam Dong of blue sea and Lam Dong of great mountains. These are 3 "core areas" for socio-economic development of Lam Dong province.
In his opening speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that with the spirit of "businesses need - government has, businesses have difficulties - government has", Lam Dong is always ready to dialogue with businesses on the basis of sharing, understanding and accompanying. The ultimate goal is to go together, opening up opportunities for mutual development .
At the conference, dozens of opinions from businesses and investors raised difficulties, problems, shortcomings and proposed opinions were sent to the leaders of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee for joint resolution and handling. The opinions focused on the contents of investment incentive policies, the impact of mineral planning, land lease time for project investment, access to preferential credit sources, environmental issues; legal procedures for project investment, foreign investment, etc.
Many opinions and recommendations of enterprises and investors were directly answered by relevant departments, branches and leaders of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee at the dialogue session; at the same time, they continued to record in order to have timely solutions, soon removing difficulties and obstacles for enterprises and investors in the area.
The province currently has more than 31,800 enterprises with legal entities in operation, with a total registered capital of more than 325 trillion VND; 2,934 valid investment projects, with a total investment capital of about 2 million billion VND, including 235 FDI projects, with a total investment capital of more than 224.2 trillion VND.
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested departments, branches and localities in the province to focus on handling difficulties and problems of enterprises within their authority. Any issues beyond their authority will be proposed for resolution by the units and the province.
He affirmed that the government always accompanies the development of enterprises. In return, enterprises also need to join hands, share, contribute ideas, and accompany the locality for the common development. At the same time, he hopes that enterprises will spread the potential and strengths of the province; each enterprise becomes an investment promoter.
The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee emphasized that it is necessary to focus on resolving difficulties and problems of enterprises; thereby, proving that the government is accompanying enterprises and investors very well; that is the best and most prestigious call for investment sent to enterprises and investors nationwide and internationally.
