At the provincial Martyrs' Temple, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Dak Lak provincial leaders offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroic martyrs who devoted their lives to the country, the people, and the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
At the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery, before the souls of the heroic martyrs, delegates laid wreaths, offered incense, and observed a moment of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
The Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province vow to continue the glorious tradition of previous generations, unite to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and are determined to successfully complete the tasks entrusted by the Party, State and people, and build Dak Lak province to become increasingly rich, civilized and unique.
80 years ago, on September 2, 1945, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, opening a new and extremely brilliant page in the journey of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people.
Over the past 80 years, under the leadership of the Party and beloved Uncle Ho, our people with a passionate patriotism and a desire for peace have united, stood shoulder to shoulder, not afraid of hardships and sacrifices, and steadfastly fought against foreign invaders, firmly protected independence and freedom, for socialism, so that the country can develop more and more prosperously, and the people can have a prosperous and happy life like today.
