Ensuring the safety of tourists.
Amidst the unpredictable weather conditions of the rainy season, the authorities at all levels in Lam Dong province have demonstrated a high sense of responsibility by proactively implementing measures to ensure absolute safety for tourists and residents.
Tourist areas and attractions featuring rivers, streams, and waterfalls, such as Dam'bri Waterfall and Tuyen Lam Lake, are being enhanced with warning signs in hazardous areas, and transportation vehicles (off-road vehicles, boats, canoes, etc.) are being inspected to ensure adequate rescue equipment. Simultaneously, staff at accommodation establishments and tourist areas are receiving training in first aid and emergency response skills for all situations.
Security, traffic safety, fire prevention, and rescue operations have been tightened. Tourism service businesses have been reminded to strictly comply with legal regulations, preventing price gouging, soliciting customers, commercial fraud, or causing inconvenience to tourists.
Mr. Tuong Huu Loc, Vice Chairman of the Da Lat - Lam Dong Tourism Association, said: “We call on tourism businesses to uphold a sense of responsibility, comply with regulations, preserve the environment, and protect the image of local tourism. Because sustainable tourism development contributes to protecting the long-term interests of the people and the country.”
"Month of Experiences" - connecting tourism and culture.
Besides ensuring safety, Lam Dong province is actively organizing the "Tourism Destination Experience Month 2025". This is a strategically important program aimed at promoting the local image, honoring traditional cultural values, and fostering sustainable tourism development.
Within the framework of the program, many unique cultural, artistic, and sporting activities are organized at key tourist destinations such as Da Lat and Mui Ne, combined with promotional programs: discounted entrance fees, gifts, organized package tours, and stimulation of domestic consumption.
Young entrepreneurs also expressed their expectations for the "Experience Month" program. Mr. Le Tang Trong Nghia, Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs Association, said: "Experience Month is an opportunity for Lam Dong tourism to develop more comprehensively, overcome limitations in connectivity, and create new tourism products such as experiencing the Central Highlands gong culture, visiting craft villages, helping to retain and attract tourists to return."
Simultaneously, tourism, accommodation, and travel businesses in the area are encouraged to actively participate in improving the landscape, enhancing service quality, and building a hospitable and friendly image.
Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huong, a representative of an accommodation establishment in Da Lat, shared: “We are not only preparing many attractive promotional programs but also improving the green, clean, and beautiful landscape. This is an opportunity to contribute to spreading the message of patriotism and remembering our roots through meaningful cultural activities.”
From a management perspective, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has proactively set clear directions to ensure synergy between tourism development and the goals of preserving culture and protecting the environment.
“The Experience Month not only attracts tourists but also spreads cultural values, awakens patriotism and national unity, in line with the spirit of celebrating major holidays. We encourage travel and accommodation establishments to cooperate closely to bring unique tourism products. At the same time, we ensure environmental hygiene and security, contributing to building a green and sustainable economy,” said Ms. Nguyen Lan Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province.
Authorities maintain a 24/7 duty roster and effectively operate the hotline 0252.3810.801, ensuring timely reception and handling of complaints and providing quick support to tourists.
