World rubber price trends on December 13th.
Rubber prices on international exchanges showed mixed trends during the trading session on December 13th. While the Singapore Exchange (SGX) continued to be a bright spot with a widespread increase, the Japanese and Shanghai markets showed fluctuations within a narrow range.
On the SGX Singapore exchange, all TSR20 rubber contracts rose in price. Specifically, the January 2026 contract increased by 0.87%, to 173.70 cents/kg. Contracts from February to May 2026 also recorded increases ranging from 0.58% to 0.70%, indicating strong buying pressure.
On the Tocom exchange (Japan), RSS3 rubber prices remained stable for near-term contracts and increased slightly for longer-term contracts. The December 2025 contract stayed unchanged at 323,900 JPY/kg. The January 2026 contract decreased slightly by 0.31% to 324,300 JPY/kg. Meanwhile, contracts from February to April 2026 increased from 0.09% to 0.64%, with the highest reaching 330,000 JPY/kg.
On the SHFE (Shanghai Exchange), natural rubber prices fluctuated slightly with alternating upward and downward trends. The January 2026 contract fell 0.13% to 15,230 CNY/tonne. Conversely, longer-term contracts such as March, April, and June 2026 recorded slight increases ranging from 0.26% to 0.36%.
Domestic rubber prices remain stable.
The domestic rubber market saw no new developments on December 13th. The purchase price of raw latex at major companies remained unchanged compared to the previous trading session.

Pricing mechanism at Ba Ria Rubber Company
Ba Ria Rubber Company continues to apply a pricing mechanism based on latex quality. Specifically:
- For liquid latex: The purchase price is 420 VND/degree TSC/kg for latex with a TSC of 30 or higher; 415 VND for TSC from 25 to under 30; and 410 VND for TSC from 20 to under 25.
- For mixed latex: The purchase price is 18,500 VND/kg for cup latex and coagulated latex with a DRC of 50% or higher. The price will decrease for latex with lower DRC, and no purchase will be made if the DRC is below 35%.
The company also applies a progressive price reduction policy for latex that does not meet TSC or pH standards, and may only purchase at 80% of the highest price if unsuitable fillers or preservatives are detected.
