In the energy market, oil prices remained stable as investors weighed the impact of Ukraine’s drone attacks on Russia’s energy infrastructure, US-Venezuela tensions and conflicting forecasts for US fuel inventories. Natural rubber prices also often fluctuate with oil prices as they compete for market share with synthetic rubber, which is derived from crude oil.

In Thailand, the world’s largest rubber producer, the meteorological agency warned that thunderstorms and increased rainfall during December 4-7 could affect latex tapping activities, adding to uncertainty in a market already sensitive to supply-demand risks.
