Market causes and forecasts

According to traders, the main reason for this price drop is the rapidly increasing supply as durian enters its peak harvest season. At the same time, the lack of smooth quality control and testing at some warehouses is also putting pressure on purchase prices.

Experts believe the market is still in the process of searching for a new price level. In the short term, durian prices may continue to fluctuate, largely depending on consumption rates and supply stability. If sales progress does not improve, prices may adjust further.
