In major orchards in Tien Giang , Cai Lay, and Dong Thap provinces, the price of Thai durian has dropped significantly. The common purchase prices are as follows:
- Type A: 98,000 – 105,000 VND/kg
- Type B: 78,000 – 85,000 VND/kg
- Type C: 45,000 – 55,000 VND/kg
- Rejected goods: Approximately 45,000 VND/kg
Ri6 durian
The Ri6 durian variety is also not immune to the general downward trend of the market. Purchase prices at warehouses in the Mekong Delta region currently fluctuate as follows:
- Type A: 74,000 – 78,000 VND/kg
- Type B: 59,000 – 61,000 VND/kg
- Type C: 35,000 – 37,000 VND/kg
