The Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will implement a 10% discount program on train tickets on all passenger trains for students participating in the high school graduation exam as well as the entrance exam to universities, academies, colleges, professional and vocational high schools in 2025.
Accordingly, each exam notice (or exam card) and admission notice of a student can buy one ticket for the student and one ticket for a relative traveling with them for one round trip. The program applies from May 28 to October 31, 2025.
The railway industry also sets out conditions for buying train tickets: students must provide their exam notice, exam card, admission notice, and valid identification documents or personal information on the VneID application. Tickets must be purchased at railway stations (no online ticket sales).
Emphasizing that accompanying and supporting the young generation is an important part of the responsibility in railway transport activities, Mr. Dao Anh Tuan, General Director of Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, said that the ticket discount program for students taking exams and enrolling in school in 2025 is the sentiment and sharing of the collective of officers and employees of the railway industry, with the desire to add motivation and reduce some of the financial burden for students and their families on the journey to conquer knowledge.
“Railway Transport Joint Stock Company is committed to providing safe and convenient trips and hopes that this small support will help students feel more confident, achieve the best results in the upcoming exams and start a new exciting learning journey,” said Mr. Tuan.
