Accordingly, 6 115 emergency satellite stations in region 2 have just been launched, including Thu Dau Mot regional health center, Ben Cat regional health center, Tan Uyen regional health center, Bac Tan Uyen regional health center, Bau Bang regional health center, and Phu Giao regional health center, bringing the total number of satellite emergency stations in Ho Chi Minh City to 59.
According to Dr. Long, this is an important milestone in expanding the out-of-hospital emergency network to meet the primary health care needs of the people, especially in the context of Ho Chi Minh City adjusting its administrative boundaries after merging with the former provinces of Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau .

"Improving the capacity, quality and coverage of out-of-hospital emergency care is a key task of the Ho Chi Minh City Health sector from now until 2030 and the following years.
