Thematic monitoring of clean water production and supply serves as a basis for developing mechanisms, policies, and standardizing clean water standards throughout the city.

On the morning of May 19th, the Urban Affairs Committee of the City People's Council conducted a thematic supervision on the situation of clean water production and supply in Hoa Binh ward. Attending the supervision was Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council.

Currently, there are 6 water treatment plants in Hoa Binh ward supplying clean water to more than 14,400 households. The ward People's Committee has strengthened management to ensure that the water treatment plants provide a stable supply of clean water, guaranteeing quality before supplying it to customers.

The inspection team visited Thuy An Water Supply Joint Stock Company.

The specialized monitoring team of the Urban Affairs Committee of the City People's Council, along with representatives from relevant departments and units, conducted a direct inspection at Hoa Binh 2 Water Treatment Plant and Thuy An Water Supply Joint Stock Company in the ward.

Following on-site monitoring and reports from local authorities on the water supply situation, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, requested that local authorities closely coordinate with relevant departments and units, strengthen state management of water supply units in the area, ensure strict compliance with legal regulations, and link business with social welfare. He also urged increased public awareness campaigns on protecting the quality of raw water sources.
