The exchange session brought vivid perspectives on literature in general and the works of Bernard Werber. In addition, the program contributed to creating a bridge in enhancing understanding and cultural exchange between Vietnam - France and Francophone countries through literature.

Writer Bernard Werber was born in 1961 in Toulouse, France, and has been writing since the 1990s. Bernard Werber has sold 15 million copies of his books worldwide . He is one of the most famous contemporary French writers today, not only in France but also worldwide .

Writer Bernard Werber is famous for his trilogy about ants: Ants, The Day of the Ants and The Ant Revolution. The works have been translated into more than 30 languages and received the Science et Avenir readers' award.

Readers who love French literature attend the event and meet author Bernard Werber

Bernard Werber’s works are a richly imaginative blend of adventure, science fiction, and philosophy. In addition to exploring the ant, Werber addresses the human condition and encourages readers to contemplate philosophically the place of man on Earth, his ability to understand what is different from him, and his own self.

His trilogy of novels about Kien and his latest work, Pandora's Box, have been translated into Vietnamese and published in Vietnam by Nha Nam Culture and Communication Joint Stock Company.

This is an important annual people-to-people diplomacy activity between Da Nang city and France in 2024 to enhance understanding of each other's cultures, contributing to strengthening the friendly relationship and development cooperation between the people of Da Nang and the people of France.
