(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The illuminated flower forest model located on the shores of Xuan Huong Lake - the center of Da Lat - attracts tourists who flock there to check in and take photos.
It's called the forest of lights because during the day the giant, colorful flowers shine brightly in the sunlight, and at night they sparkle with lights.
This area is also surrounded by a vibrant, flower-filled wall, in keeping with the character of the 130-year-old city.

It is known that from 5 PM each day, the organizers behind this illuminated flower forest will play music to enhance the emotions and experiences of city residents as well as tourists who come to Da Lat because of their love for the city.

Having the opportunity to travel from Hanoi to Da Lat , Thanh Thuy (24 years old) said she was very impressed with the giant flower forest on the shores of Xuan Huong Lake. The flower clusters make for a stunning backdrop for photos.
"In the evening, this area glows with a magical, shimmering light, combined with the cool weather to create a delightful experience for tourists. My friends and I also took many beautiful photos amidst this giant flower forest," Thuy said.

Minh Anh (27 years old, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) also said that she accidentally came across the rather unusual flower forest model, so the whole group stopped to take pictures. The giant flowers were designed to look realistic, in all sizes and colors, standing close together, creating the feeling of a flower forest.
"It felt like we were in a wonderland with the giant flowering trees. The photos taken with the flower forest were beautiful and unique. This was a very enjoyable experience for us during our visit to Da Lat," Minh Anh said.
Besides the stunning illuminated flower forest, the Da Lat Flower Festival 2024 is also a highlight that tourists are looking forward to. The festival will take place throughout December (December 5-31), with 45 programs, and will conclude right at the beginning of the new year 2025.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the Da Lat Flower Festival aims to honor the values of flowers and the flower-growing profession in Da Lat, creating opportunities for producers and businesses of flowers and unique local agricultural products to exchange and integrate internationally.
The Da Lat Flower Festival is also an opportunity to promote the cultural style of the people of Da Lat: "Gentle, elegant, and hospitable."
Lam Dong province aims to welcome 2 million domestic and international tourists for sightseeing, tourism, and relaxation during this year's Flower Festival.
Reportedly, in the first eight months of 2024, Lam Dong province welcomed 6.8 million visitors, an increase of 18.5% compared to the same period in 2023. Of these, approximately 396,000 were international visitors, an increase of 66.7% compared to the same period last year.
