Dalat Flowers - Symphony of Colors

(NADS) - On the evening of December 5, at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat city, more than 30,000 visitors attended the opening ceremony of the 10th Flower Festival - 2024, with the theme "Da Lat Flowers - Symphony of Colors".

The Flower Festival will last until December 31, 2024 with more than 20 new, unique cultural and artistic events of national and international significance. In his opening speech, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - Tran Hong Thai affirmed that Da Lat is always a place with special and unique attractions for tourists with colorful stories called "Flower Festival". This Flower Festival inherits the good tradition and has many differences compared to the previous 9 festivals.

Dalat flowers not only bring high economic value but are also cultural symbols, the strength of 47 resilient ethnic groups in the past, the bravery in the present and the aspiration for innovation with the "Era of the rise of the Vietnamese people".

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that Da Lat has gone through ups and downs, achieving many achievements in integration, exploiting local potential and strengths. "Da Lat - Vietnam Flower Festival City" with its cool climate all year round, beautiful landscapes, unique architecture, is a famous and attractive tourist destination nationally and internationally.

Over the past 20 years, Lam Dong province has organized 10 Da Lat Flower Festivals, making this festival a national cultural and tourism event that is increasingly spreading to the world. This Flower Festival not only honors the values of flowers and floriculture, but also creates opportunities for the flower industry to link with tourism, contributing to the strong socio-economic development of Lam Dong province.

This is a typical flower festival of Da Lat city, aiming to attract 2 million tourists to experience, explore and relax in Da Lat and is expected to reach 10 million visitors this year. The First Deputy Prime Minister believes that the Party Committee, government and people of Lam Dong will continue to unite, promote all resources, build the homeland to be more and more prosperous, prosperous, happy and develop sustainably in the "New Era of Rising with the Nation".
