Quy Thu Production and Trade Company Limited (Xuan Phu Commune) is a unit specializing in exporting coconut cake products with the original material being coconut grown in Quang Nam province (old) and some other provinces/cities. Ms. Le Thi Thu, Director of Quy Thu Production and Trade Company Limited, said that in early November this year, the unit had a series of activities in Korea to promote and introduce coconut cake products, as a result, an export order to the Korean market was signed, ensuring stability until next year.
“The company’s production capacity is 1.5 tons/day. Our coconut cakes are available in markets such as the US, Korea, China, Taiwan, the Netherlands, and France. Foreign partners have very high requirements for strict control of raw material origin, clear and transparent records, and good products. In addition, the most difficult thing in exporting agricultural products is to maintain a stable supply and quality of input materials. In addition, increasing logistics costs are also a challenge for businesses,” said Ms. Thu.
Similarly, My Phuong Food Co., Ltd.'s coconut cake products (Hoa Khanh ward) are exported to markets in Muslim countries, the US, Palestine, and the EU, gradually creating a competitive advantage with stable export orders. The product has clear strengths right from the raw material selection stage. The company's factory is located near the large coconut growing area of Tam Quan ( Gia Lai province), so fresh coconut is brought directly into production, helping the product retain its natural aroma and crispness.
Nhien Tam Food Company Limited (Lien Chieu Ward) with its young grapefruit products has been present in many major markets such as the US, EU, China, Japan... Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Director of Nhien Tam Food Company Limited, said that the unit currently specializes in producing products such as crispy dried young grapefruit and grapefruit tea. To ensure a stable source of raw materials, aiming at the goal of green and clean production, the unit built a grapefruit farm of nearly 10 hectares.
“In addition to technical criteria, another factor that makes international customers very fond of Vietnamese agricultural products is that the products have a clear story and origin. Agricultural products such as grapefruit trees, coconut trees, rice grains, durian, etc. are all associated with Vietnamese life, so when we tell the story in that spirit, the product will easily conquer the foreign market,” Ms. Tam expressed.
Contributing to the 12.8% growth of the export sector in the first 10 months of the year (data from Da Nang Statistics) were positive results from the export of agricultural products. Since the beginning of the year, through trade promotion activities organized by functional sectors as well as enterprises themselves, many agricultural export orders have been signed to international markets such as the US, EU, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, France, etc.
This growth is mainly due to the efforts of the business community as well as functional sectors in expanding markets, diversifying products and effectively utilizing free trade agreements. Thereby bringing benefits to businesses and farmers directly cultivating, helping to improve production capacity, standardizing export processes, and aiming at sustainable production development.
