Quy Thu Production and Trading Co., Ltd. (Xuan Phu commune) specializes in exporting coconut cakes made from coconuts grown in the former Quang Nam province and some other provinces/cities. Ms. Le Thi Thu, Director of Quy Thu Production and Trading Co., Ltd., said that in early November this year, the company conducted a series of activities in South Korea to promote and introduce its coconut cake products. As a result, export orders to the South Korean market were signed, ensuring stability until next year.
“Our company’s production capacity reaches 1.5 tons per day. Our coconut cakes are available in markets such as the US, South Korea, China, Taiwan, the Netherlands, and France. Foreign partners have very high requirements for strict control of raw material origin, clear and transparent documentation, and high-quality products. In addition, the most difficult aspect of exporting agricultural products is maintaining a stable supply and quality of input materials, and rising logistics costs also pose a challenge for businesses,” Ms. Thu said.
Similarly, the coconut cake products of My Phuong Food Co., Ltd. (Hoa Khanh ward) are exported to Muslim countries, the US, Palestine, and the EU, gradually creating a competitive advantage with stable export orders. The product has a clear strength right from the raw material selection stage. The company's factory is located near the large coconut growing area of Tam Quan ( Gia Lai province), so fresh coconuts are directly used in production, helping the product retain its natural aroma and crispness.
Nhien Tam Food Co., Ltd. (Lien Chieu Ward), with its products made from young pomelos, has a presence in many major markets such as the US, EU, China, and Japan. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Director of Nhien Tam Food Co., Ltd., said that the company currently specializes in producing products such as crispy dried young pomelos and pomelo tea. To ensure a stable supply of raw materials and aim for green and clean production, the company has built a nearly 10-hectare pomelo farm.
"Besides technical criteria, another factor that makes Vietnamese agricultural products very popular with international customers is that the products have a clear story and origin. Agricultural products such as pomelo trees, coconut trees, rice grains, durian... are all associated with the lives of Vietnamese people, so when we can tell a story that truly reflects that spirit, the product will easily conquer the foreign market," Ms. Tam expressed.
Contributing to the 12.8% growth in goods exports during the first 10 months of the year (data from Da Nang Statistics) is the positive performance of agricultural product exports. Since the beginning of the year, through trade promotion activities organized by relevant agencies and by businesses themselves, many agricultural export orders have been signed with international markets such as the US, EU, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, France, etc.
This growth is primarily driven by efforts from the business community and relevant agencies in expanding markets, diversifying products, and effectively utilizing free trade agreements. This has resulted in benefits for businesses and farmers, improved production capacity, standardized export processes, and a focus on sustainable production development.
