Recognizing the importance of the digital economy , in recent times, businesses, production and trading establishments, cooperatives, etc., in the province have actively used digital information, digital technology, digital data, and applied information and telecommunication technologies to increase labor productivity, innovate business models, and achieve initial positive results. 
VNPT Phu Tho staff introduce and guide customers on digital solutions and services.
Based on the telecommunications and information technology infrastructure, interconnected information systems and specialized databases have been invested in and put into use, proving effective in improving convenience and reducing costs for businesses during their operations. Telecommunications businesses in the province have focused on investing in and promoting broadband infrastructure to ensure internet connectivity, basically meeting the requirements of building a digital government, digital economy, and digital society. Telecommunications businesses are building an ecosystem of products that promote the development of the digital economy in various fields; providing solutions to support small and medium-sized enterprises in implementing comprehensive digital transformation such as overall business management, sales management, and human resource management.
To date, 100% of businesses in the province have adopted electronic invoices, with over 6,100 organizations and businesses, and more than 1,100 households and individuals conducting business using the declaration method. Telecommunications companies such as VNPT, Viettel, and Mobifone have urgently deployed direct support for digital transformation to nearly 200 businesses in the province, focusing on solutions such as electronic invoices, digital signatures, electronic contracts, automatic attendance tracking via facial recognition, customer service call centers, online meetings, and virtual reality.
As a provider of comprehensive digital transformation infrastructure and solutions, VNPT Phu Tho has consistently strived and proactively contributed to building e-government and digital transformation in the province. Mr. Dang Viet Hai, Director of VNPT Phu Tho, stated: “VNPT Phu Tho has collaborated with provincial agencies and units to advise on digital transformation solutions for several businesses, and has developed and provided a diverse range of information technology products and solutions. In 2023, VNPT Phu Tho provided telecommunications and information technology products and services to over 7,000 organizations and businesses; provided digital signatures to over 1,000 organizations, businesses, and household businesses; provided over 500 declaration software programs for businesses; and affixed VNPT Check traceability labels to nearly 1 million products... VNPT Phu Tho is actively building a roadmap, focusing resources, and implementing information technology solutions to contribute to the province's digital transformation efforts, aiming towards building a digital government, digital economy, and digital society.”
Given the specific nature of the construction materials manufacturing and trading industry, with numerous departments from production to sales, Thanh Ha Ceramic Joint Stock Company - CTH (Thanh Vinh Ward, Phu Tho Town) proactively promotes the application of digital technology in the management and operation of its production and business activities across all departments. The company has a production capacity of over 6 million square meters of ceramic tiles per year. Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang, Deputy General Director of the company, said: “Digital transformation and the development of the digital economy have directly impacted production and business, forcing enterprises to recognize opportunities and challenges in order to survive and develop. The company's production lines and machinery are modern, programmed and controlled with a high degree of automation, especially in the production stage. In addition to investing in modern machinery, the company also proactively implements digital transformation in its corporate management.”
In the context of digital transformation, the digital economy is not just a trend but has become an essential requirement, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of businesses and promoting sustainable socio-economic development. In the coming time, departments, sectors, and localities will continue to implement many solutions, focusing on developing and perfecting the digital infrastructure, digital data, and digital workforce. Along with the involvement of functional agencies, businesses also need to proactively build management and operational models in the digital environment. It is necessary to assess the readiness and data for digital transformation and the digital economy; supplement and improve the construction of data platforms suitable for businesses so that they can effectively operate and exploit technology infrastructure and databases.
