Ho Chi Minh City is bustling with summer playgrounds for children.

(HTV) - Many skills, talent, and experiential summer classes are being implemented in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to creating an environment for fun, skill development, and holistic growth for children during the summer break.

At the Ho Chi Minh City Children's House, this summer the unit is organizing approximately 120 classes with more than 30 subjects, ranging from talent development and life skills to military-style summer camp programs, attracting a large number of parents to register their children to participate.

Many parents said they prioritize choosing classes that help children increase physical activity, develop skills, and limit screen time during the summer.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong, residing in Binh Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, shared that her family prioritizes enrolling their children in sports and talent classes such as basketball and music lessons to help them improve their health and gain more experiences during the summer vacation.

Meanwhile, Ms. Duong Thi Bich Ngoc, residing in Tan Dinh ward, Ho Chi Minh City, said she wishes her child had more opportunities for physical activity and social interaction instead of spending too much time on phones or electronic devices.

Children enthusiastically participate in summer skills and talent classes.

According to reports, classes in critical thinking math, computer science, art, roller skating, and soft skills are receiving great interest from parents. In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Children's House plans to open more experiential classes for parents to strengthen the bond between parents and children.

Representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Children's House said that the number of students registering for summer classes this year is higher than the same period last year, with approximately 3,000 students already enrolled. Classes are scheduled to begin on June 1st.

With the theme "Fun Summer in Ho Chi Minh City," this year's summer activities are organized in a safe and beneficial way, creating more opportunities for children to experience and develop skills before entering the new school year.
