NotebookLM tool is increasingly popular (Photo: Google).
Google has just rolled out Video Overviews in NotebookLM, replacing the previous Audio Overviews format. The new feature allows users to create video summaries that can be customized by topic, learning objective, or specific audience.
With Video Overviews, the system will present key points in the document with illustrations, diagrams, quotes, and figures extracted from the original content. An AI presenter will take on the role of presenting this information.
The feature currently supports English language, expected to expand to many other languages.
Previously, users could only create one Audio Overview per notebook. Now, Google allows you to create and save multiple versions of the same output within a notebook on the Studio platform.
The new Studio interface consists of four sections: Audio Overviews, Video Overviews, Mind Maps, and Reports. Created content will be displayed as a list below these sections.
The new feature will be rolling out widely in the coming weeks.
According to Google data, the countries with the highest number of NotebookLM users today are India, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
