Google is committed to supporting Ho Chi Minh City in the digital transformation of education.

On the morning of August 9th, the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Duong Anh Duc, held a meeting with Mr. Paul Hutchings, General Manager for Australia, New Zealand, and Emerging Markets of Google for Education .

Vice Chairman Duong Anh Duc received a letter of commitment from Google to support digital transformation in the education sector of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Paul Hutchings stated that after more than two years of research with the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences on the suitability of the Google for Education solution, it was found that teachers and students in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Can Tho have all experienced many benefits of digital transformation in education. People have saved time on administrative tasks, increased interaction, promoted international integration, and developed skills…

On this occasion, representatives from Google for Education made several official commitments to Ho Chi Minh City and introduced AI Education, its authorized partner in Vietnam, to implement joint action programs, including: providing free consultation and support for the deployment of Workspace for Education, training personnel in managing Workspace for Education services, developing and implementing a training plan for IT administrators under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, developing and implementing a training plan for "Pioneering Digital Skills Teachers" to achieve "Google Educator" certifications, and providing internationally standardized Google training programs…

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Duong Anh Duc, welcomed Google for Education's efforts in Ho Chi Minh City and expressed his hope that the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training would develop a long-term, detailed, and specific cooperation strategy with Google to bring practical benefits to students and teachers in Ho Chi Minh City.
