Contribute youth to the village

After completing her medical secondary education, Ms. H Lơk Byă (born in 1991) returned home to help with the housework and participated in work in Yă Wăm B village (Ea Kiết commune). Since 2020, H Lơk has participated in women's work, the Savings and Loan Group of Yă Wăm B village. She is currently the Head of the Front Work Committee, a delegate of the Commune People's Council, and participates in the Youth Union work in the village.

In the work of the front and the role of the People's Council representative, H Lok coordinates with the village chief and organizations to share tasks in residential areas; coordinates the organization of movements, mobilizes people to participate fully..., contributing to strengthening solidarity in the village. She regularly visits and grasps the living situation of the people; monitors and updates issues of concern to reflect, propose and recommend to superiors on policies that benefit the people, protect the rights and interests of the people.

Buon Ya Wăm B currently has 157 households with more than 800 people, most of whom are Ede ethnic people; there are still many poor and near-poor households; people's awareness is still limited. Therefore, the most difficult problem is to propagate and mobilize people to participate in activities and movements at the grassroots level. "Although the economic situation of the families is still difficult, if we make an effort, work with a sense of responsibility and always think about the interests of the people, the work will be easier to complete", Ms. H Lơk Byă shared.

As the head of the village's Loan and Savings Group, H Lok understands the needs and supports people in completing documents and procedures to borrow capital from the Social Policy Bank to invest in family economic development. Because she lives in the village, she understands the circumstances of each household; from there, she tries to support the most difficult and hard-working households to access loans as quickly as possible. H Lok confided: "With the support of my family, I prioritize most of my time for the common work of the village, after work I do housework and farm work like everyone else. Being able to meet people and participate in community movements of the village and commune is also my joy."

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Kiet commune, Vo Dinh Hiep, commented that H Lok Byă always works with a sense of responsibility and youthful enthusiasm, and is trusted and highly appreciated by the People's Committee of the commune.
