K'Goan, a student from the Ma ethnic group in the mountainous Bảo Lâm 5 commune, currently in class 12 A1 at Lộc Bắc Secondary and High School, has overcome many difficulties and strived in her studies. Recently, she had the honor of joining the Party.

Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Ha, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Loc Bac commune; and Mr. Dang Tai Tue, Secretary of the Party Branch and Principal of Loc Bac Secondary and High School, presented the decision to admit K'Goan as a Party member.

Born into a family facing many hardships, K'Goan quickly became aware of his responsibilities to his family and strived in his studies. From a young age, the strong-willed K'Goan helped his parents with farming and household chores. As a young man, on weekends and during the summer, he busied himself with various jobs to earn money to help his parents and support his siblings.

What's admirable about K'Goan is not only her diligence but also her proactive, persistent, and clearly focused learning spirit. She always sets goals for herself and relentlessly pursues them. In class, she pays close attention to lectures and confidently discusses lessons with her teachers when she doesn't understand something. Outside of class, she independently researches additional materials and practices various types of exercises to reinforce her knowledge. This is how she gradually overcomes her limitations and strives for excellence.

Through tireless effort, K'Goan has achieved outstanding academic results. For example, she won an Encouragement Award in Geography at the provincial-level excellent student competition for 11th graders; and a Third Prize in Geography at the same competition for 12th graders. These achievements are not only the result of her intelligence but also a testament to the willpower and resilience of a student from an ethnic minority group living in the mountainous region.

Ms. Di Na, the teacher directly responsible for tutoring Geography at the school, expressed: “K'Goan is a student from an ethnic minority group who always strives to overcome the many difficulties her family faces. She possesses a very persistent will to learn and a spirit of not being afraid of hardship, which is truly admirable.”

Not only is K'Goan an excellent student, but she is also a diligent, simple, sincere, and responsible individual. She is always friendly with her classmates, readily sharing and helping those who are weaker academically. In class and school activities, she demonstrates a serious attitude and a strong sense of teamwork. This comprehensive self-improvement has made her qualified and worthy of joining the Party while still a high school student.

K'Goan confided: "Being admitted into the Party is a great honor not only for myself but also for my family and relatives. Currently, my greatest wish is to become an officer in the Vietnam People's Army so that I can strive to study and train to protect my homeland and country."

K'Goan is the second ethnic minority student from our school to have the honor of joining the Party."
