Ha Long Bay shines brightly with the colors of the 2026 Carnival festival.

On the evening of April 30th, the vibrant street parade, part of the Ha Long Carnival 2026, took place along Tran Quoc Nghien street, stretching approximately 1 km to the 30/10 Square. The event attracted a large crowd of locals and tourists, creating a colorful and festive atmosphere by Ha Long Bay.

At exactly 6:30 PM, the parade officially began with the participation of 14 art troupes from both Vietnam and abroad. The opening act was the grand performance "The Origin of Heritage," bringing together hundreds of drum and lion dance performers, creating a vibrant atmosphere and captivating the audience from the very first minutes.

Along the parade route, various art troupes presented a colorful array of performances, harmoniously blending traditional and modern elements. Highlights included a group of beautiful Carnival women in costumes inspired by the sea, vibrant samba dancers, Then singers recreating the culture of the highlands, and images of mine workers, a characteristic symbol of Quang Ninh. Interspersed were street circus acts, hip-hop, and dancesport performances, contributing to a youthful and lively atmosphere.

A highlight of the program is the combined "dynamic-static" performance format. The performing arts troupes paraded while stopping to perform at open stages along the roadside, giving the audience the opportunity to fully appreciate the technique and artistic message of each act.

The sound and lighting systems, along with LED screens along the route, are connected to the main stage, contributing to a synchronized and immersive festival atmosphere.

The program was broadcast live by the Voice of Vietnam Radio and the Quang Ninh Newspaper, Radio, and Television. The parade was not only a spectacular street art performance but also the opening event for the vibrant series of events at the opening night of the Ha Long Carnival 2026.
