Ha Nam announces decisions on personnel work

Kinhtedothi - On February 20, the People's Committee of Ha Nam province held a conference to announce the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work.

At the conference, the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee was announced, including departments and agencies equivalent to departments: establishing the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; establishing the Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance; establishing the Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; establishing the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology; establishing the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs.

At the same time, maintain 7 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee (with adjusted functions, tasks and internal organizational structure), including: Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism; Departmentof Education and Training; Department of Justice; Department of Health; Department of Industry and Trade; Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Provincial Inspectorate. The newly established departments will officially operate from March 1, 2025.

The conference also announced and awarded 25 decisions on appointment and early retirement for leaders of 5 newly established departments and branches.

Speaking at the ceremony assigning tasks to comrades receiving new assignments, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy hoped that each cadre who was transferred and appointed would continue to promote their sense of responsibility, capacity, and strengths, overcome all difficulties, quickly approach new jobs, and promote the spirit of solidarity and unity in the collective to successfully complete the political tasks of the agency and unit.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted a number of key tasks in the coming time. In particular, he requested that leaders of departments and branches closely follow their tasks, ensure good transfer of documents and work; urgently build functions, tasks, organizational apparatus..., review the arrangement of heads and deputy heads of departments and branches, must arrange capable and qualified cadres, ensure the apparatus operates smoothly from March 1, 2025, successfully complete political tasks, contribute to promoting digital transformation, digital economy and economic growth of the province in the era of national development...
