The Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival has attracted domestic and international tourists to visit and experience it. The Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2023 is an annual event organized to promote and support artisans and craft villages in producing gift products for tourists, while connecting craft villages and gift production units with travel agencies and tourism service businesses to increase the consumption of gift products and contribute to the development of the tourism economy . The "Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2023" features many highlights such as: the opening ceremony held on the evening of November 3rd at the gate of Thong Nhat Park; the photo exhibition "Dating and Loving Hanoi"; The event featured a series of activities steeped in Hanoi's culture and traditions, such as folk games, O An Quan (a traditional board game), bamboo pole dancing, stilt walking, cyclo parades, drum performances, and especially the performance of the ancient Thang Long dance "Con Di Danh Bong" (The Prostitute Dancing with a Drum)... In 2024, the "Happy Vietnam" Photo and Video Contest continued to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website https://happy.vietnam.vn for all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and above. The contest aimed to honor individuals and groups with positive information products that made practical contributions to promoting a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world . Through this, it helped people at home, overseas Vietnamese, and international friends access authentic images of Vietnam, its people, and its achievements in ensuring human rights, moving towards a happy Vietnam. Each competition category (photos and videos) has the following prizes and prize values: – 1 Gold Medal: 70,000,000 VND – 2 Silver Medals: 20,000,000 VND – 3 Bronze Medals: 10,000,000 VND – 10 Consolation Prizes: 5,000,000 VND – 1 Most Voted entry: 5,000,000 VND.
