Hanoi restricts traffic on Chuong Duong bridge from 8:30 this morning

Hanoi will restrict vehicles passing through Chuong Duong Bridge from 8:30 this morning, September 10.

In Hanoi , early September 10, the Hanoi Department of Transport announced traffic restrictions on Chuong Duong Bridge.

Specifically, from Hoan Kiem to Long Bien: passenger vans, contract vans, and tourist vans with more than 9 seats are prohibited; trucks over 0.5 tons are prohibited; buses are allowed to operate.

Direction from Long Bien to Hoan Kiem: passenger vans, contract vehicles, tourist vehicles with more than 9 seats are prohibited; trucks over 0.5 tons are prohibited; buses are allowed to operate.

Passenger cars, contract cars, tourist cars with over 9 seats and trucks with a load capacity of over 0.5 tons that need to pass through Chuong Duong bridge must travel via the following bridges: Thanh Tri, Nhat Tan, Vinh Tuy, Thang Long.

Implementation time starts from 8:30 am this morning, September 10 until further notice.

Previously, in Phu Tho , on the afternoon of September 9, the Phu Tho Department of Transport announced the ban on Trung Ha bridge at Km 64+639 on National Highway 32, and Tu My bridge at Km 2a6+500 on National Highway 32C. The ban will last from now until the damage to the bridges is repaired.

During the bridge closure, vehicles from Tam Nong to Lam Thao, Viet Tri City, Hanoi, Vinh Phuc will pass Ngoc Thap Bridge. From Tam Nong, Thanh Thuy, Thanh Son, Tan Son to Hanoi, they will pass Dong Quang Bridge to Ba Vi District.

In Yen Bai, vehicles are prohibited from crossing Yen Bai Bridge at Km 280+500 on Highway 37. The reason is that the water level of the Red River has risen near the lower edge of the bridge's steel truss, and there is a lot of trash and floating trees on the river. The ban is from now until further notice.

Vehicles moving to the western districts and towns of the province and the western communes and wards of the city pass through Tuan Quan, Bach Lam, Gioi Phien bridges or Van Phu bridges and vice versa.

In Tuyen Quang, vehicles are prohibited from participating in traffic on a series of bridges in some districts in the area. Accordingly, trucks of 3.5 tons or more and passenger cars of all kinds are prohibited from circulating through the following bridges: Nong Tien Bridge (National Highway 37, Tuyen Quang City); Bo Bridge (National Highway 3B, Ham Yen District); Son Duong Bridge (National Highway 37, Son Duong Town); An Hoa Bridge and Kim Xuyen Bridge (DT.186, Son Duong District).

Chiem Hoa Bridge (National Highway 3B, Chiem Hoa District) prohibits all people and vehicles from passing through the bridge until further notice.
