The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just sent a document to the People's Committees of wards, communes, and educational institutions in the city regarding the organization of the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education.
To successfully organize the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requests units to arrange and prepare adequate transmission lines and equipment to connect online or via VTV1 television channel at all educational and training establishments in the city; coordinate with telecommunications units and Hanoi Radio and Television Station to ensure stable signals and good image and sound quality.
The school's planned activities (if any) are organized concisely and end before 8:00 a.m. From 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., all delegates, teachers, students and pupils fully participate in the contents of the program organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (including performing the flag-raising ceremony, singing the National Anthem at the same time as the flag-raising ceremony at the National Convention Center; listening to speeches by Party and State leaders...).
For preschool level: Based on actual conditions, preschools organize "Children's Day to School" ending before 8am; choose a suitable location to hold the Opening Ceremony, ensuring safety and creating a joyful atmosphere for children.
For newly built schools: Organize a different inauguration ceremony on September 5, 2025; do not organize the opening ceremony at the same time as the inauguration ceremony.
Have appropriate response plans for weather conditions; ensure traffic safety, security and order, and prevent fires and explosions during the ceremony.
Strengthen communication about the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education and the opening of the 2025-2026 school year on local mass media; encourage educational and training institutions to proactively implement appropriate forms of communication, creating a widespread ripple effect throughout the sector.
The opening ceremony needs to be organized solemnly, safely, practically, and effectively with students at the center, ensuring that it truly becomes a school opening day for students.
After the opening ceremony, schools organize collective activities: Education on school traditions, local history, learning of rules, etc.; maintaining the tradition of singing the National Anthem in weekly meetings, celebrations, commendations, rewards, etc. according to regulations.
The opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year at schools and educational institutions in the City will be held at the same time as the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) and the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year at the National Convention Center (from 8:00 to 9:30 on September 5, 2025); broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and connected online to educational and training institutions nationwide.
