Phu Tho: Contributing comments on draft Resolutions in the field of Education and Training in the province

On October 13, Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu chaired a conference to listen to the Department of Education and Training report on draft resolutions and legal decisions advised and chaired by the Department.

The conference heard representatives of the Department of Education and Training report on draft legal documents including: Resolution on Regulations on support regime for Lao students studying abroad under cooperation agreements with colleges and universities under the management of Phu Tho province.

Resolution on policies to support learners in vocational training institutions in Phu Tho province, period 2026 - 2030.

Resolution on Regulations on contents and expenditure levels for preparation, organization and participation in exams applicable to the field of Education and Training in Phu Tho province.

Resolution on the level of support for preschool children, preschool teachers, independent and private preschool education facilities in industrial parks and industrial clusters in Phu Tho province.

Resolution on regulations on reward policies for students who win prizes, are valedictorians, and teachers whose students win prizes in exams and competitions for excellent students.

Resolution on some specific policies for specialized high schools; policies for students participating in the team, experts, teachers participating in training the reserve team as a source, the official team of the province to participate in the exam to select excellent students, science and technology competitions at national, regional and international levels.

In addition, there is also a Decision on Regulations on distance and area as a basis for determining students who cannot go to school and return home during the day; a list of pages providing personal belongings and school supplies to students of ethnic boarding schools and general education institutions performing the task of educating ethnic boarding students in Phu Tho province.

At the conference, delegates all affirmed that the issuance of resolutions and decisions is necessary. In particular, agreeing with the draft prepared by the Department of Education and Training, delegates also analyzed and contributed opinions on a number of contents such as: Support levels and support objects specified in the resolution; some opinions suggested that the Department of Education and Training continue to review, supplement data, and assess the specific impacts of each support policy to ensure appropriateness...

Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu emphasized: Policies in the field of education have direct and profound impacts on learners, teachers and educational institutions, so they need to be seriously and carefully prepared.

Mr. Hieu requested the Department of Education and Training to fully absorb comments from relevant departments, branches and units to review, edit and complete the content of draft resolutions and decisions, and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and comments before submitting them to the Provincial People's Council in accordance with regulations.

"Resolutions and decisions, once issued and put into practice, must ensure that they contribute to improving the quality of education and training, meeting the requirements of human resource development of the province in the new period," Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu emphasized.
