At 9:00 a.m. on December 9, Thanh Nien Newspaper organized a seminar: "Media training from Innovation to the New Era" at White Palace Hoang Van Thu Convention Center (194 Hoang Van Thu, Duc Nhuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). The event attracted the attention of many leaders of agencies, universities, media experts, businesses, lecturers and students from Hong Bang International University, Cuu Long University, Van Lang University...
As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Thanh Nien Newspaper's first issue (January 3, 1986 - January 3, 2026), the seminar is an opportunity for universities that provide training in journalism and communications to share their training orientations in the field of communications, their achievements, innovations, and creativity, as well as their difficulties and recommendations.
At the panel discussion, Mr. Pham Quy Trong , Deputy Head of Local Department 3 - Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, shared about the issue of digital capacity and data: New requirements for journalism and media training in the AI era.
Meanwhile, Dr. Huynh Van Thong , Head of the Department of Communication, Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University) presented on the issue of training human resources in the media industry - the challenge behind the boom.
University leaders, experts in the field of communication, and business representatives also shared their opinions in the discussion, including:

At the seminar, leaders and experts focused on sharing new, breakthrough and creative points of training institutions in journalism, communications and public relations - especially in the context of the current development of artificial intelligence (AI). At the same time, opinions also pointed out difficulties and obstacles in regulations, mechanisms, enrollment and diplomas in media training; Proposals and recommendations to improve the quality of training and human resources with ministries, businesses and media.
