Young U.23 Vietnam star practices literature in the morning and martial arts in the afternoon
Le Phat was born in 2007, is only 18 years old this year and is the youngest member of the U.23 Vietnam team at SEA Games 33 (next is Cong Phuong born in 2006). His participation in SEA Games 33 is considered one of the biggest surprises of coach Kim Sang-sik.
It is especially interesting that Le Phat - nicknamed "Vietnam's Mbappe" - in addition to practicing and competing with his senior teammates, still diligently turns on his computer every morning to study online at the Bac Ninh University of Sports and Physical Education.
The young striker of Ninh Binh FC expressed: "I feel very excited and quite happy when I know I am on the list to attend SEA Games 33. I always have to try hard to be worthy of this opportunity.
Le Phat has a very high fighting spirit.

Studying and playing in the SEA Games is not that difficult. You can study in the morning and practice in the afternoon. I can only study 2 sessions. I need to try my best every day to have the opportunity to play on the field.
In U.23 Vietnam right now, there are 3 people studying with me: Thanh Nhan and Xuan Bac. I think a university degree is very important, because with a university degree, after I stop playing football, I can apply for a job or become a sports coach."
U.23 Malaysia is strong but U.23 Vietnam will win
Ahead of Le Phat and U.23 Vietnam will be the "final" match of Group B of the men's football SEA Games 33, when coach Kim Sang-sik has set the order to defeat U.23 Malaysia to enter the semi-finals as the top team of Group B.

Le Phat confidently said: "During training sessions, coach Kim Sang-sik often reminded his students to always be confident, united and take advantage of the opportunities they have. Regarding the tactics of the match against U.23 Malaysia, I cannot talk about them here.
For the entire U.23 Vietnam team , U.23 Malaysia is a pretty strong opponent. Our team must always be ready to adapt to every opportunity on the field. The team's goal is still to try to win against U.23 Malaysia.
I am a young player, participating in the SEA Games for the first time. I try my best in every training session. I am advised to always try to learn from my seniors, always try my best in every training session to gain the coach's trust and be given the opportunity to play on the field."
