Accordingly, the Government added 41 border gates to the list of international border gates allowing foreigners to enter and exit with electronic visas as stated in Article 2 of Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023 of the Government on the application of electronic visas for citizens of countries and territories.

Including 4 international airports (including Long Thanh (Dong Nai), Gia Binh ( Bac Ninh ), Vinh (Nghe An) and Chu Lai (Da Nang); 11 land border gates (Dong Dang (Lang Son), Lao Cai, Tra Linh (Cao Bang), Long Sap (Son La), Nam Giang (Da Nang), Le Thanh (Gia Lai), Binh Hiep and Tan Nam (Tay Ninh), Thuong Phuoc and Dinh Ba (Dong Thap), Thanh Thuy (Tuyen Quang). Up to now, Vietnam has 27 land border gates applying e-visa, of which 16 have been deployed since 2023.
26 port gates include: Van Gia (Quang Ninh), Diem Dien (Hung Yen), Hai Thinh and Ninh Binh (Ninh Binh), Cua Lo-Ben Thuy (Nghe An), Son Duong (Ha Tinh), Gianh, Hon La, Cua Viet (Quang Tri), Thuan An (Hue), Ky Ha (Da Nang), Sa Ky (Quang Ngai), Vung Ro (Dak Lak), Ca Na and Ninh Chu (Khanh Hoa), Phu Quy and Lien Huong (Lam Dong), Ben Luc (Tay Ninh), Dong Thap and Soai Rap - Hiep Phuoc (Dong Thap), My Thoi, An Thoi, Hon Chong (An Giang), Truong Long Hoa, Giao Long (Vinh Long), Nam Can (Ca Mau).
It is known that from 2023, Quy Nhon Port (Gia Lai) has also applied entry and exit by electronic visa.
Previously, according to Resolution No. 127/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023, there are 42 international border gates allowing foreigners to enter and exit with electronic visas (e-visas).
