Hanoi regulates awarding of the title "Cultural Family"

Applicable subjects include: Households; villages, residential groups; communes, wards, towns and agencies, organizations, individuals related to the activities of awarding the titles "Cultural Family", "Cultural Village, Residential Group", "Typical Commune, Ward, Town" in the city.

The awarding of titles is carried out annually and completed before November 25. The Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, ward or town decides to award and reward the title "Cultural Family". The Chairman of the People's Committee of the district, town or city decides to award and reward the title "Cultural Village or Residential Group". The Chairman of the City People's Committee decides to award and reward the title "Typical Commune, Ward or Town".

Regarding the criteria for awarding the title "Cultural Family" include: Exemplary compliance with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; actively participating in emulation movements in labor, production, study, protecting security, order and social safety of the locality; a prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized family; regularly attached, united, supporting and helping in the community.

The total score of the criteria is 100, achieving 90 points or more is considered for the title.

Criteria for awarding the title "Cultural Village and Residential Group" include: Stable and developed economic life; healthy and rich cultural and spiritual life; safe and friendly environment, clean and beautiful landscape; good compliance with the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State; maintaining social order and safety; actively participating in local emulation movements; having a spirit of solidarity, mutual support and assistance in the community.

The total score of the criteria is 100, achieving 90 points or more is considered for the title.

Criteria for awarding the title "Typical commune, ward, town" include: Well performing assigned socio-economic, national defense, security, order, and social safety tasks; stable and gradually developing economic life; healthy and rich cultural and spiritual life; safe and friendly environment, clean and beautiful landscape; well implementing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws.

The total score of the criteria is 100, achieving 95 points or more is considered for the title.

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to guide and inspect the application of standards, procedures and records for awarding the titles of "Cultural Family", "Cultural Village, Residential Group", "Typical Commune, Ward and Town" at the local level; preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect, resolve complaints and denunciations and handle violations in the awarding of the above titles according to the provisions of law.
