The above information has just been announced by the Hanoi City Statistics Office in the socio -economic situation report for the second quarter and the first 6 months of 2025.
Of which, domestic revenue was 373.9 trillion VND, reaching 77.5% and increasing by 52.7%; revenue from crude oil was 1.8 trillion VND, reaching 42.5% and equal to 89.4%; revenue from import-export activities was 16.4 trillion VND, reaching 60% and increasing by 36.2%.

Some major revenue areas include revenue from the state-owned enterprise sector of VND 44.1 trillion, reaching 54.8% of the annual estimate and down 0.8% over the same period in 2024; revenue from the foreign-invested enterprise sector of VND 18.7 trillion, reaching 61.6% and up 13.7%; revenue from the non-state enterprise sector of VND 77.3 trillion, reaching 73% and up 44.2%.
Personal income tax collection was 33.7 trillion VND, reaching 67.4% and increasing by 26.2%; land use fee collection was 72.5 trillion VND, equal to 151.2% and 6.9 times higher; fees and charges were 16.2 trillion VND, reaching 52.9% and increasing by 3.6% (of which registration fee collection was 3.9 trillion VND, reaching 54.9% and increasing by 17.2%).
Also in the past 6 months, local budget expenditure is estimated at 69.5 trillion VND, reaching 37.9% of the year's estimate and increasing 56.2% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, development investment expenditure was 30.5 trillion VND, reaching 29.8% and increasing by 56.5%; regular expenditure was 38.9 trillion VND, reaching 53.3% and increasing by 56.1%.
Some major expenditure areas in the regular expenditure of the local budget in the first 6 months of 2025 include: Expenditure oneducation , training and vocational training is estimated at 14.4 trillion VND, reaching 57.2% of the estimate and increasing by 67.7% over the same period last year; expenditure on economic activities is 5.9 trillion VND, reaching 45.3% and increasing by 36.3%; expenditure on state administrative management is 7.3 trillion VND, reaching 64.4% and increasing by 75%.
Social security expenditure was 3.4 trillion VND, reaching 48.9% and increasing by 44.1%; health, population and family expenditure was 2.5 trillion VND, reaching 61.8% and increasing by 37.8%; environmental protection expenditure was 1.9 trillion VND, reaching 60.6% and increasing by 57.1%.
