Haaland wins Premier League Golden Boot

Despite not playing in the final matchday, Erling Haaland has officially won the Premier League Golden Boot for the 2025/26 season.

Concluding the past season, Haaland scored 27 goals in 35 Premier League appearances, further solidifying his position as the league's top scorer. This achievement helped Haaland equal the record of three Premier League Golden Boot awards held by legends Alan Shearer and Harry Kane.

In the history of the tournament, only Mohamed Salah and Thierry Henry have won this award more times than Haaland.

Right behind the Manchester City striker in the scoring race this season is Brentford's Igor Thiago with 22 goals. His explosive season also earned the Brazilian striker a call-up to the national team for the 2026 World Cup.

Haaland had a very impressive start to the season, scoring 19 goals in his first 17 games, creating a large gap between himself and his rivals. However, his form declined in the middle of the season when he scored only one goal in seven consecutive games, coinciding with the period when Man City lost their advantage in the title race.
