The competition aims to objectively test and evaluate the quality of training, capacity, and ability to operate equipment on the deck of the ship when performing tasks, as well as in search and rescue, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters of the ship and boat block; at the same time, it serves as a basis for training and performing tasks.

The sports festival had 4 teams with 82 officers and soldiers from the ship and boat block belonging to the units in the 11th Navy Division. The teams completed 7 sports events including: Practicing basic knots; techniques of waiting and tying ropes; techniques of throwing bait ropes; techniques of making mooring ropes; spreading and collecting water hoses to extinguish fires; stretching and collecting camouflage nets and rowing boats.

The judges scored the practice of the content of the show and the rope fight.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the sports festival, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo The Trung, Deputy Commander of the Navy, Chief of Staff of the Navy 11, commended and congratulated the units for achieving high results in the sports festival; at the same time, he requested that in the coming time, agencies and units continue to promote and improve the quality and effectiveness of training, practice, qualifications and skills for officers and soldiers in basic watercraft work in the ship and boat sector; strictly maintain the training order and regime; proactively develop additional training plans.

Lieutenant Colonel Ngo The Trung requested that the missing and weak contents after the sports festival need to be immediately overcome to ensure the quality of task performance and good handling of situations according to assigned responsibilities, meeting the unit's mission requirements in the current situation.

At the end of the sports festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the first overall prize to Ship CSB 8003; the second overall prize to Ship CSB 8004; the third overall prize to the High-speed Block, Squadron 112 and 5 individual prizes in the contents.
