
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, Le Ngoc Chau, has decided to establish a Standing Committee to facilitate the exchange of information and content related to the administrative unit reorganization plan during the holiday period from April 30 to May 4, 2025.
According to the decision, the standing committee is tasked with being on duty during the holiday period from April 30th to May 4th, 2025, to promptly exchange information and content related to the plan for rearranging provincial and commune-level administrative units when requested by the Central Government.
The team leader is Ms. Sai Thi Yen, Director of the Department of Internal Affairs. The deputy team leader is Mr. Do Huy Chinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs. The permanent team members include: Mr. Bui Van Thang, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Trong Tue, Director of the Department of Finance; Mr. Nguyen Hoai Long, Director of the Department of Construction; and the Chairpersons of the People's Committees of the districts, towns, and cities.
If necessary, the Director of the Department of Internal Affairs (team leader) has the right to invite a number of provincial departments, agencies, and units to participate in the standing team.
Before May 1st, Hai Duong province will finalize the administrative unit reorganization dossier and submit it to the Ministry of Interior for appraisal and completion before submitting it to the Government for presentation to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for consideration and decision.
The Ministry of Interior is expected to review, compile, and develop a comprehensive plan based on the proposals submitted by provinces and cities throughout the holiday period (from April 30th to May 4th) in order to promptly submit it to the relevant authorities as required.
