Two Vietnamese restaurants among the best in Asia

The Rhythms and Cloud Nine restaurants in Hanoi were honored by Tripadvisor in the top 25 best restaurants in Asia.

Rhythms ranked 15th and Cloud Nine ranked 24th in the list of Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Restaurants for fine dining 2023 (25 best fine dining restaurants voted by experts and travelers). The results were announced by Tripadvisor, one of the world's largest travel experience sharing websites based in the US, on September 27. Last year, Kabin restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City was the only representative of Vietnam to make it to this list.

Located on the 7th floor of La Sinfonía del Rey Hotel & Spa in the city center, Rhythms has a perfect view of Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter. The restaurant serves traditional cuisine and regional and international specialties. Some of the signature dishes that are highly appreciated by diners include Northwest roasted chicken, spring rolls, banana rolls and ice cream. Prices start from 165,000 VND, according to the restaurant menu.

Cloud Nine (9-storey cloud restaurant) is located on the 9th floor of La Siesta Premium Hang Be Hotel, 27 Hang Be, Hanoi center. The restaurant is decorated in a nostalgic style with two main colors of black and white, serving lunch and dinner in sets, a la carte. Price of a dish from 100,000 VND.

Tripadvisor released a list of the top 25 based on visitors' reviews of the level of satisfaction with the amount of money spent on the service, the restaurant's location, the service attitude, the variety of dishes, the taste, and the uniqueness. Fine dining is a form of dining at luxury restaurants and hotels that aims to experience sophisticated cuisine with high-quality dishes. Diners often dine and sip wine, chatting gently, in contrast to the bustling, noisy style of restaurants that are often seen.

Travelers' Choice Best of the Best is the annual award of   Tripadvisor has 5 categories: destinations, beaches, restaurants, hotels and experiences. Each category has a list of the best in the world, continent and country, based on votes from travel experts and global travelers.

Japan's Ise Sueyoshi was named the best restaurant in Asia, followed by India's Avartana and Thailand's Akira Back in second and third respectively.
